Hi,

I would like to add a third column with the actual balance after each line.

See attached example.

How can I do that ?

A viable option would also be to print the difference between the two column totals in order to have the balance at the end of the period.

Thanks in advance

Running totals are difficult to implement in the current reportwriter design. The only way I can think of to do this would be to use a special report and track the running total in the class.

Is there an example somewhere I could use to understand what you mean ?

When do you plan to have another report writer ?

Thanks

The new report tool will be a part of R2.2. As far as examples, the best thing to do is look at an existing report and go from there. I would recommend the aged_receivables special report as it does a similar function. I can help out in a couple of weeks. I'm pretty booked until then.
